Project CPR 5 – CHOREOGRAPHIC PRACTICE & RESEARCH
presents Phase 2 – 2014’s ensemble works.
Faris Family Studio The Dance Centre, 677 Davie Street, Vancouver
Project CPR is a Claire French/ Restless Productions Initiative
Now in its fifth year, Project CPR has been able to continue due to the generous and visionary support from The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts. The project started as part of Claire French’s residency at The Dance Centre in 2009. Project CPR was launched at THE DANCE CENTRE’S 2009 Open House. It is a delight to be able to celebrate its 5th year back at the place it began.
2014 has been an incredible year for CPR. Featuring high calibre artists who have offered a wealth of information and been so positive in sharing their developments. Jacinte Armstrong has travelled from Halifax, Nova Scotia to be involved. Both Jamee and Caitlin are incredibly busy dancers and teachers. They brought their own motivations to pursue their own work by throwing open the possibilities and finding new approaches. The dancers have been generous, committed and focussed. Now Project CPR needs funding so that these dancers can get paid properly for their work.
